This paper analyzes and discusses various reasons for the current capacity reduction and life shortening of the base station valve-controlled battery during use, and proposes relevant improvement measures.

From the current use situation, the base station battery generally has a battery capacity drop too fast, and the service life is short. Even in a short period of 1 to 2 years, the capacity of the battery is only 30% to 40% of the nominal capacity, and some are only 10% to 20%. %, and most base station batteries run for 1 to 4 years, and their capacity is only about 50% of their nominal capacity, which is far from the design life of the base station. Compared with similar batteries in the exchange station, its service life is also greatly increased. Decrease, according to the requirements of battery use and maintenance standards, as long as the battery capacity drops to 80% of its nominal capacity, its service life will be terminated, and it should be replaced. This paper analyzes the causes of the base station battery capacity falling too fast and shortening the service life. And to discuss, and propose relevant improvement measures here, I hope to be helpful to operators. This paper refers to the valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery.
