The determination of the leaves of Dianthus chinensis by the leaf area detector and the analysis of relevant yields revealed that when the average diameter of the stands was 2 cm, the stand density was 36000 to 3,750 plants #hm-2, and the leaf area index was close to 7. At this time, the stand density is the most reasonable. Similarly, when the average diameter is 3 cm, the stand density is 30,000-33,000 plants #hm-2, and the leaf area index is about 7 which is the most reasonable. Because the diameter of the high-yield bamboo forest in Dianthus is generally 2~3cm, the analysis results suggest that the density of the high-yielding forest of Dianthus hirsutus is the most reasonable and the yield is also the highest.
