Intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter common problems and solutions

Introduction: Due to the high precision, high stability and low maintenance of the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter itself, generally, as long as the installation is strictly in accordance with the installation requirements, there is no need to do some other work later, but the problem lies in the installation. And the changes in the working environment, these will bring some fault problems for the measurement of the late intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter:

1. In the initial stage of intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter selection , it is necessary to determine whether the conductivity of the measured fluid is > 5μS/cm , and the conductivity of the fluid must be evenly distributed. Try to avoid the installation of the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter in places where the conductivity is uneven. ;

2. In the installation section of the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter, the pipeline must be kept full at all times to avoid the illusion that the pointer is not at zero due to the non-full tube. The flowmeter should be installed vertically as far as possible so that the fluid flows from the top to the bottom through the meter. The electrode can play the role of cleaning the surface of the electrode; it can also be installed horizontally, but the two potentials of the meter must be on a horizontal surface;

3 , the signal of the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter is quite small, so it is easy to be interfered by external signals, so the installation of the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter requires separate grounding of the flowmeter, remember not to be connected with other large equipment grounding. This will also cause interference due to the same potential;

4. Remember to install the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter as far as possible from all high-power points or transformers. From our practice, the technical flowmeter is well grounded, if there is a strong leakage phenomenon in the electromechanical equipment near the flowmeter, or on the pipeline. Strong stray currents appear, and these factors still affect the normal operation of the flowmeter;

5 , the sensor and converter need to be connected to the same phase power supply, otherwise the detection signal and the feedback signal will be in the phase of -120 ° , resulting in abnormal operation of the instrument;

6. Since the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter generally measures more corrosive fluids such as acid and alkali salts, the signal socket and the insulation layer of the flowmeter are easily corroded during long-term use, so the protection is strengthened in use.

Summary: Although the performance of the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter is stable, it is also based on the correct selection and installation, so it has certain expertise to ensure the maintenance, installation and use of the flowmeter.
