Waters Corporation held a press conference in Beijing on the 15th to release Waters, ACQUITY, and ArcTN systems globally. This new quaternary LC system can help liquid chromatography (LC) analysis laboratories to efficiently convert, tune, or improve the methods developed on any LC platform to reproduce or improve laboratory separation performance. It is reported that this system is planned for sale at the end of June.
LC is widely used in the fields of medical services, environmental management, food safety, water quality monitoring, consumer products, and high value-added chemicals. Currently, liquid chromatography methods and equipment are moving from high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) to ultra-efficient. Advances in the liquid chromatography (UHPLC) phase, where UPLC is Waters' innovative Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography, and the new ACQUITY Arc System and its unique Arc Multi-flow path technology provide a bridge between HPLC and UPLC. Effectively compensates for and bridges the performance gap between the two.
According to reports, laboratory scientists only need to select the appropriate flow path, the ACQUITY Arc system can easily simulate a variety of HPLC systems, without modifying the gradient table of the method; or a simple switch, you can get UHPLC performance. This universal system can not only reproduce the existing HPLC method without changing the gradient table, but also improve the chromatographic performance of the analytical method by using 2.5-2.7μm particle column technology, and can support the previous 3 - 5μm Application developed on HPLC columns.
