At present, Yantai Petrochemical is using the pneumatic desulfurization technology for the tail flue gas desulfurization of two 310 ton/hour cfb boilers in the first thermal power station fuel boiler retrofit project.
This technology was first applied to the flue gas treatment of Yanshan Petrochemical's 220 ton/hour coal-water slurry boiler. The completed desulfurization unit has been running smoothly and continuously for 335 days from the coal-water slurry boiler since September 2004. The industrial application results of the technology show that compared with the traditional air tower spray desulfurization technology, it has the advantages of large gas-liquid contact surface area, low liquid-gas ratio, good mass transfer effect, and high flue gas purification rate of the same amount of absorption liquid. It not only has a good absorption effect on soot, but also ensures environmental protection discharge standards, and also effectively reduces operating costs. It can reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by about 1,800 tons per year and reduce pollutant discharge exceeding the standard by 1.137 million yuan.
At present, the more mature flue gas desulfurization technologies in the world include limestone-gypsum method, seawater desulfurization method, spray drying method, calcium spray humidification method and electron beam method. These flue gas desulfurization technologies imported from abroad have the advantages of rich engineering experience, stable system operation and high desulfurization efficiency. However, due to their relatively high liquid gas and low dust removal rate, they are very sensitive to the concentration of dust in the flue gas of the desulfurization tower. The circulation caused by the operation is large, resulting in large system power consumption, high operating cost, and dust emission does not meet environmental emission requirements. Therefore, this technology has a good prospect of promotion and application.
