China International Chemical Fiber Conference held in Wujiang

The 17th China International Chemical Fiber Conference under the theme of “Transformation and Upgrading, Green and Low Carbon, Innovation Driven, and Harmonious Development” was held on September 1st and 2nd in Wujiang City, Jiangsu Province, China's chemical fiber industry. More than 600 experts and entrepreneurs from the chemical fiber industry from 30 countries and regions attended the conference to jointly discuss the path of restructuring and upgrading of China's chemical fiber industry and the sustainable development of the industry.


Since the beginning of this year, under the influence of severe fluctuations in the prices of textile raw materials such as cotton, the operating environment of the chemical fiber industry has undergone major changes. Although the industry performed well in the first half of the year, the hidden risks are extremely complicated and it is difficult to effectively increase demand in the second half of the year. In addition, the industry faces unprecedented pressure on resources, the environment, and energy conservation and emission reduction.


In this regard, Duan Xiaoping, president of the China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, pointed out that the chemical fiber industry must adopt an effective product development and application promotion model to realize the continuous increase in the added value of chemical fiber products and realize the maximization of brand effect is the only way for the industry.


Duan Xiaoping said that after the rapid growth of China's chemical fiber industry in the past 10 years, technological progress has been very prominent, and the fields of application of fibers and products have continued to expand, but the development of the industry is still mainly based on quantitative growth, in the development of new products, marketing, Brand building and other aspects are relatively weak.


Duan Xiaoping suggested that during the “12th Five-Year Plan” period, the chemical fiber industry and enterprises should not only increase investment in R&D, but also pay attention to product development, and should pay more attention to market promotion of new products.


The conference is organized by China Textile Industry Association. At this conference, chemical fiber industry experts from various countries and regions emphasized the need to promote rapid industrial upgrading and promote the common development and prosperity of the chemical fiber industry.

Compound Fertilizer

Compound fertilizers are chemical fertilizers made by chemical methods or/and mixed methods containing any two or three of the nutrient elements of crops, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Its role is to meet the comprehensive needs and balance of multiple nutrients needed by agriculture under different production conditions. It is widely used in modern agriculture.

Due to the needs of agriculture, compound fertilizers, especially high-concentration compound fertilizers, are an inevitable trend in the development of Chemical Fertilizer varieties. The early fertilizer industry in most countries was dominated by fertilizers in the production unit (fertilizers containing a nutrient). With the development of soil fertilizer science and agricultural fertilization technology, agriculture has moved towards scientific fertilization. Scientific fertilization must be based on different soil types and properties, fertility levels, crop types and climatic conditions and other factors to determine the variety and quantity of fertilizer, so that the excessive application or shortage of one or more nutrients in the soil and waste.

The content of each nutrient element of the compound fertilizer is generally expressed in the corresponding percentage of N–P2O5-K2O, and its sum is the concentration of the fertilizer. According to Chinese standards, the total content of 25% to 30% is a low concentration, 30% to 40% is a medium concentration, and more than 40% is a high concentration compound fertilizer. Compound fertilizers can evenly supply several nutrients to crops at the same time, so as to give full play to the mutual promotion of nutrients. Because of its different production processes, it can be divided into three categories: compound fertilizer, compound fertilizer and mixed compound fertilizer.
