According to foreign reports, Bridgestone Bandage Tire Solutions (BBTS) decided to stop selling the Dayton brand of passenger car radial tires at the end of the year.
BBTS, a affiliate of Bridgestone Americas Tire, said the decision would only affect midsize truck tire dealers and large customers in the United States, but the tire supply of Daytona light trucks or passenger cars will not be affected.
Kurt Danielson, president of BBTS, said, "The decision was mainly to simplify the supply of our products so that our dealers and customers can trade with us."
