On September 26, the China Consumers Association held a press conference. According to reports, the relevant departments are drafting the rules for the three-pack of cars, making the three-pack policy easier to implement.
China Consumers Association said that for repairs, replacements, and returns, it can be negotiated between the operators and consumers in accordance with the Three Guarantees Regulations. The operator shall not use any excuse to push for the replacement or return conditions.
According to reports, the General Administration of Quality Supervision and other departments will formulate a series of supporting standards and rules, and has now introduced the standard of automobile main parts. In the future, the relevant departments will also establish a judgment standard for serious safety performance failures. At present, the relevant departments are actively drafting the implementation rules of the Three Guarantees, making the Three Guarantees policy easier to implement.
The relevant person in charge of the China Consumers Association said that the time limit for the three guarantees of some auto companies is longer than the prescribed time limit, but it is not allowed to shorten the time when the three packs are introduced, because this is unfair to the consumers who have already purchased the cars.
