She believes that the use of air springs is an inevitable trend in future commercial vehicle suspension systems.
What is an air spring ? Wang Lianping introduced this. The air spring can be physically equivalent to the effect of a cylinder. Its components include the airbag and the piston. The piston operates in the cylinder up and down to form a spring effect. Technically speaking, the air spring can easily adjust the height through the control system. In addition, its bias frequency is relatively low, and all aspects of data are more balanced.
For the customer, the air spring has its unique advantages over the typical leaf spring. First of all, its weight is much lighter than the leaf spring, and secondly it can reduce the dynamic load factor. Again, due to the high degree of adjustability, the use of air springs not only improves ride comfort for trucks , but also protects the cargo and reduces the damage of goods on the road.
For the environment, the use of air suspension for heavy vehicles can increase road life and protect roads. And it can also reduce the noise generated by the vehicle during driving. In addition, the reduction in the weight of the air suspension contributes significantly to reducing emissions. "The suspension of the trailer is about 225 kilograms. Compared with the composite material used for the air spring, the air spring can emit less than 2 tons of carbon dioxide per year," said Wang Lianping.
