· Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. recalled some imported Lincoln MKZ series cars

Recently, Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan to recall some imported 2017 Lincoln MKZ series cars from May 31, 2017 to June 15, 2017, starting from May 31, 2018. According to the company's statistics, there are 47 vehicles in mainland China.
Some of the vehicles in this recall range were improperly welded due to the supplier's production reasons, and the automatic transmission torque converter studs were improperly welded. The stud may be broken, and the torque converter and the engine flywheel may be disengaged, resulting in sudden loss of power without warning during the running of the vehicle, increasing the risk of collision of the vehicle, and there is a safety hazard.
Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. will replace the qualified torque converters for vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate defects. Stock vehicles will be sold after the defect has been eliminated.
