General access control system configuration: access control host, access control power supply, electronic control lock (electric mortise lock, electric mortise lock), exit button (or card reader). If you are connected to the Internet, you will need to connect to the main control computer (install the corresponding software).
General wiring method:
1+12V, GND terminal (power supply for the access control host) on the access control host is connected to the +12V and GND terminals of the access control power supply.
2 The electronic control lock is connected to the NO or NC end of the access control power supply (depending on the normally open lock and the normally closed lock); usually it is connected to the NC end (power on unlock, power off lock). The electronically controlled lock is terminated by the GND terminal of the access control power supply.
The PUSH terminal (opening signal) on the 3 access control host is connected to the PUSH terminal of the access control power supply. (The door opening signal on the access control host is marked as NO or NC. Usually, the NO terminal is connected to the PUSH terminal of the access control power supply).
4 If the other end is connected to the door button, the two connections of the exit button are connected to the exit button end and the GND end of the access control host; or the PUSH terminal and the GND terminal of the access control power supply.
5 If the other end of the card reader is connected, the card reader is connected to the corresponding signal terminal of the access control host (generally connected to 4 terminals: 12V, GND, DATA0, DATA1).
6 If you need to connect to the Internet, you must also connect RS485 cable (RS485 communication mode) or network cable (TCP/IP communication mode) to the access control host, the other end is connected to the computer, RS485 cable (2-core shielded cable) also needs to access the serial port. The RS485 converter is connected to the serial port of the computer host; the network cable is connected to the network port of the computer network card.
In addition, there may be alarm interface, doorbell interface, door magnetic interface, etc. (usually not connected) on the access control host.
