The liquefaction system forms a deposited acid sludge in the liquid chlorine storage tank, which affects the quality of the liquid chlorine product. In the process of filling the liquid chlorine, the cylinder valve is blocked. In this case, the liquid chlorine in the cylinder must be treated first. Then, the bottle valve can be cleaned, the process is time-consuming and laborious, and the liquid chlorine storage tank should be cleaned once a year. Sulfuric acid is lost during the cycle and should be replenished in time to keep the level of concentrated sulfuric acid within the specified range. After the concentrated sulfuric acid is changed to dilute sulfuric acid, it will cause strong corrosion to the compressor. Therefore, it must be ensured that the concentration of sulfuric acid cannot be lower than 93%. The analyst should periodically analyze the concentration of sulfuric acid. When the concentration of sulfuric acid is lower than 93%, the system should be The sulfuric acid is discharged, replaced or supplemented with 98% concentrated sulfuric acid, so that the concentration of sulfuric acid is kept within the allowable range, and the diluted acid released will pollute the environment.

1.2 The equipment has many faults and the maintenance strength of the workers is large. In addition to the normal situation of 4-5 spare machines, 7-8 compressors are equipped with one machine head. Once the compressor fails, the machine head is directly replaced, and then the removed machine head is repaired for later use. . It is equipped with 4 maintenance personnel to repair the chlorine compressor, and the maintenance personnel are repairing the equipment every day. In normal operation, the life cycle of the liquid-ring chlorine compressor is 2-3 months. The machine seal, impeller, bushing and other accessories are very expensive. According to statistics, the annual maintenance cost is about 500,000 yuan.

1.3 Equipment is low in efficiency and consumes a lot of energy. The liquid ring type chlorine gas compressor is made of ductile iron. The liquid ring used is 98% concentrated sulfuric acid. Its density is 1.84g/cm3, so the power of the motor is enlarged accordingly. The YLJ-1250/3.0 liquid ring type chlorine compressor is single. The motor power is 110Kw, the designed displacement is 1250m3 /h, and the designed maximum discharge pressure is 0.3Mpa. 2 chlorine gas turbine works

The motor drives the turbine planetary gearbox to increase the gearbox to high speed. The output shaft of the gearbox is connected to the shaft of the compressor through the coupling, so that the impeller fixed on the shaft rotates at a high speed, and the working wheel with high speed rotation will be used. Its mechanical energy is transferred to the gas, thereby increasing the pressure of the chlorine gas. Anbang's chlorine gas turbine compressor is a four-stage compression. After the chlorine gas is compressed by each stage of impeller, it enters the intercooler to cool, and then enters the next stage for compression to ensure that the temperature after the chlorine gas is compressed does not exceed 40 ° C. The pressure can reach 0.7Mpa.

3 chlorine gas turbine working conditions

The process of delivering chlorine gas by a turbo compressor is essentially different from the process of delivering chlorine gas by a liquid-ring chlorine compressor. The turbine does not need to recycle the working fluid, eliminating the sulfuric acid circulation system, the dilute acid storage system, and the sulfuric acid separation and capture system is placed at the compressor inlet, due to the turbine compressor material GG-25 (equivalent In domestic HT-250), the chlorine content in chlorine gas is higher. The design requirement is 200mgH2O/Nm3, which can be controlled at 50mgH2O/Nm3. In the inlet part, a blister drying tower is added, and the imported acid mist trap is added. The Monsanto defogger is used, and the defogging effect is better. During the three years of operation, the liquid chlorine storage tank was not cleaned, and the bottle valve was not clogged when the cylinder was filled.

The motor power is 700Kw, the rated exhaust pressure is 0.7Mpa, the normal opening is 0.5Mpa, the liquefaction temperature of chlorine is 0-10°C, and the liquid chemical section LG20 is frozen. The shaft seal of the chlorine gas turbine adopts a closed gas structure, the labyrinth is circulated on the shaft, and the sealing gas is made of nitrogen. The nitrogen consumption is 36 Nm/h per minute and the nitrogen pressure is maintained at 0.7 MPa. Compared with the liquid ring chlorine compressor, the operation of the turbine requires a nitrogen system.

4 Energy saving and environmental protection benefits of using chlorine gas turbine

(1) Saving the cost of concentrated sulfuric acid: The chlorine gas turbine does not need working fluid, and can save nearly 1,000 tons of concentrated sulfuric acid per year. It is calculated at a price of 1400 yuan per ton of 98% sulfuric acid, saving 1.4 million yuan per year. At the same time, it can reduce 1200 tons of waste sulfuric acid to the environment.

However, due to the low profit margin, some turbines that transport chlorine gas are well-known. The flat machine manufacturer has not carried out research and development. Only some small enterprises produce it. The exhaust pressure of the chlorine gas turbine can generally reach 0.4Mpa, which can support 10-15 thousand tons/year chlor-alkali project, and some chlor-alkali enterprises begin trial use. With the accelerated development of domestic turbine manufacturers, the replacement of imported chlorine turbines by domestic chlorine turbines will become a trend.
