This standard is an amendment to ZB J62 006.3-87 "Barrier shear noise limit for bar shears, crocodile shears and shears" for forging machinery noise limits. This standard and the technical content of ZB J62 006.3-87 are basically the same, only according to the relevant provisions of the re-edited.
This standard has been implemented since January 1, 2000.
This standard replaces ZB J62 006.3-87 from the date of implementation.

1 Scope This standard specifies noise limits for the sound power level and sound pressure level of bar shears, crocodile shears, and shears.

2 Reference Standards The following standards contain provisions that, through reference in this standard, constitute provisions of this standard. JB/T 3623—1984 Measuring method of forging machinery noise 3 Barrier shear noise limit 3.1 Barber shearing noise A-weighted sound power level LwA during continuous air running shall not be greater than that specified in Table 1.
3.2 The noise-weighted sound pressure level LpA at the specified position of bar shears in continuous operation shall not exceed 95 dB(A).
3.3 The LpA1 should not exceed 106 dB(A) in the sound pressure level of the impulse noise when the bar shear is in single-load operation.
4 Noise limit value of crocodile shears 4.1 The noise A-weighted sound power level LWA of the crocodile type shear shall not exceed 105 dB(A) when it is continuously running.
4.2 The noise A-weighted sound pressure level LpA of the alligator-type shear at a specified position during continuous operation shall not exceed 90 dB(A).
5 Noise Limit of Shears 5.1 The noise-weighted sound power level LWA of the shears in continuous operation shall not be greater than those specified in Table 2.
5.2 The noise level A sound pressure level LpA at the prescribed position of the shears in continuous operation shall not be greater than that specified in Table 3.
5.3 LpA1 shall not be greater than the stipulated in Table 4 for the impulse noise A-weighted sound pressure level at the specified position when the shears are unloaded for a single stroke.
6 Measurement method The measurement method of this standard shall be as specified in JB/T 3623.

The use of this standard
A1 Any newly prototyped or improved prototype, a small batch of trial-produced new products, or the first batch of bar shears, crocodile shears, and shears produced after the change of process, materials, and quality rating, Performance testing of the cutting material shears, crocodile shears, shears products, should determine the noise sound pressure level, it is recommended to determine the noise power level.
A2 Bar cutting, crocodile shearing and shearing products that are normally mass-produced can only measure the noise sound pressure level at the factory inspection.
