·Goodyear pushes new commercial vehicle tire brand in China

Recently, Goodyear Tire launched its new sub-brand “Remington” in China.

Tire World Network was informed that this new brand is positioned in cost-effective mid-range commercial vehicle tires.

Its products are designed by Goodyear's technology research and development centers in the United States and Luxembourg, and are improved for Chinese road conditions and driver habits.

The brand's tires are produced by the Goodyear Dalian Pulandian factory. The production process, production equipment and quality standards are the same as the parent brand “Goodyear”.

In July, the “Youto” brand launched three new products, including two guide wheel tires and one drive wheel tire.

Goodyear said that “Yourway” has many unique features, especially for medium and long-distance high-speed and fixed-load freight transport vehicles.

According to Tire World Network, Goodyear is the first foreign tire company to invest and build factories in China. In November 2008, Goodyear Dalian became a wholly-owned company of Goodyear through a share purchase.

By the end of 2015, the tire industry giant had nearly 60 dealers and more than 2,100 branded retail stores in China.

Goodyear said that the launch of the "Yutuo" truck and bus tire brand is a reflection of Goodyear's emphasis on the Chinese market and the actual demand of Chinese tire users.
